Women In Ocean Science joins Ocean Culture Life for World Ocean Day celebrations

This World Ocean Day our very own co-director and operations manager Anna headed down to Jersey in the Channel Islands to for a 2 day WOD event in collaboration with Ocean Culture Life, an organisation that unites a global community of ocean story tellers. The event consisted in a series of educational workshops delivered to 4 local schools, and a live virtual workshop broadcasted to 40 schools. These talks focused on bridging the gap between science and communication through ocean storytelling, and aimed to inspire the ocean guardians and ocean scientists of the future.
